Similar to our Meet Lenny For Breakfast, members meet for breakfast, conversation, and kicking the tyres. We picked this location to be more convenient for our Chester County members, but all are welcome to attend.

We will be having a DVT picnic in Peace Valley Park. Located near Doylestown. We have reserved a pavilion. Since this is a Saturday, we won't have to make Chip Krout kick out the church group that usually has services there without reservations.

Bring your own box lunch and refreshments. The park is alcohol free. You can even bring your own personal watercraft too, if you would like.

There will be an optional "Peace Valley Winery" visit, meeting at Pavilion #4 at 10:45 to take the short drive over to the winery. Others can meet us at 12:00 for lunch at Pavilion #4. This is a "brown bag" event, so bring your own picnic lunch. There is also a grill at the pavilion, and DVT will have charcoal, and utensils if you want to BBQ. The weather forecast looks perfect, mid-60's and dry.

Pavilion #4 is on the north side of Peace Valley (Lake Galena), turn at the Peace Valley Entrance (New Galena Road), and drive in about 1/2 mile. Pavilion #4 will be on your right-hand side. Look for a Union Jack and DVT banner.

The photoshoot will take place after lunch at "Sailor's Point" overlooking the lake, only 2/10 of a mile up the road.

At Jekyll Island, Georgia

We will be meeting at the Sumney Tavern in West Point, PA. This is located just west of North Wales on Sumneytown Pike. Sumney Tavern it is located at 1610 West Point Pike Lansdale PA 19446 at the intersection of Sumneytown Pike. 7:30 pm (seating somewhat earlier)

Saturday, October 30th

DVT vs MG Fall Rallye.

We will meet in the parking lot at the Holiday Inn in Fort Washington. The hotel is right off of the Fort Washington exit of the PA turnpike, and Rt. 309, but don?t worry, all your driving will be on great back roads from there.

Please arrive at 9:00am, there will be a drivers/navigators meeting at 9:30am, and the 1st car off will be 10:00am.

Saturday, November 6 & Sunday November 7th

Where: Lancaster/Hershey PA

Hotel: Village Inn and Suites, Bird in Hand, PA

Planned activities: Breakfast 1st day Saturday: Shady Maple Smorgasbord, dinner Lancaster Brewing Company

Sites: Bird in Hand Amish territory, Strasburg Railroad, Hershey Car Museum, Le Cigale, a french linens & tablecloth Store (same vendor from Cars of England show) in Mt. Gretna, PA.

At this point we are still finalizing the itinerary, however we do plan to visit each of the above sites over the two day period.

We are holding 9 rooms ranging in price from approximately $150-$205 (queen & king rooms). We will be staying in an Inn on the National Register of Historic Inns. If you plan to book, please contact Charlene Hutchison ASAP to secure your room. Cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance!
